INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST 17/11/2025

1.

The East of Lake Victoria Diocese(ELVD) is one the 26 Dioceses of the Evangelical Lutheran church in Tanzania (ELCT).The ELVD Head Quarter is situated in Mwanza City,which is the second largest city in Tanzania with a coverage area of two government administrative regions of Mwanza and Geita.ELCT-EAST OF LAKE VICTORIA DIOCESE has set aside funds for the operation of the diocese during the financial year 2026.It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the financial and internal control systems audit

ELCT-EAST OF LAKE VICTORIA DIOCESE now invites eligible individuals Auditors or auditing firms to indicate their interest in providing the general Auditing for the financial year 2025

Interested auditor or auditing firm must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services by submitting updated CV’s, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions and relevant skills. Interested individual Auditor must also submit financial proposal

4.

You are requested to submit your written expression of interest, one original detailed curriculum Vitae (CV) and financial proposal plus THREE copies of detailed CV and Financial proposal by 8th December,2025 at 10p.m hours local time. The detailed CV and Financial proposal shall each be enclosed in a separate envelope and marked “Detailed CV”. And Financial proposal” respectively. The two envelopes shall then be enclosed in a single envelope and marked “Proposal for the financial and internal control systems audit” and submitted to the following address: The Secretary Procurement committee, ELCT-ELVD, P.O.BOX 423, MWANZA,0764 717194

The opening of CVs shall take place immediately after the deadline for submission, at ELCT-ELVD head office, Imani Rest house Hall. Applying individual Auditors or Firms are invited to attend the opening ceremony.

A consultant will be selected in accordance, with the procedures set out in the ELCT-ELVD procurement policy

7.

CVs shall be evaluated on the basis of the criteria shown in the terms of Reference. Only individual Auditor or Firm scoring above 85% shall be engaged (depending on their availability) to carry out the assignments during the financial year 2025

8.

Prospective individual consultants are required to collect the Terms of reference from the Secretary, procurement committee whose address is indicated on the paragraph 4 above during working days (Monday to Friday) between 8: 30a.m to 4:00pm at the cost of fifty thousand only (50,000/-) nonrefundable amount through ELCT-ELVD ACC.0150355080301 CRDB-ELCT-ELVD GENERAL ADMIN.

9.

Any request for clarification with regard to this assignment shall be addressed to the undersigned not less than seven days before deadline for submission.The client shall respond to clarifications received within three working days from the date of receipt of query.

10.

Late Expressions of Interest shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
